KWI puts out a monthly newsletter for all members. Its casual, informative style brings writing information and keeps everyone up to date on what is going on with our members.

KWI puts on an annual writing retreat for members. It's an opportunity to get away from ringing telephones, chaotic households and obligations to focus on your true love -- writing. We've also added Topeka day-long writing retreats because our members asked for more opportunities to focus on their writing.

KWI will help you become familiar with the publishing world. We have published authors among our members who are willing to share their experiences and expertise. (In fact, one of our members just got published! Click here to learn more.)
